| Why doesn't Studio 182 offer bulk Rough? | We cater to the Lapidary & Jewelry Artist who doesn't want to deal with sorting through a bulk stone order trying to find that special piece of rough for their project. By selecting from our hand selected pieces, the Artist knows what the individual stone piece properties are, therefore cutting their overall cost of rough. By knowing what the stone looks like when ordering, waste can be kept to a minimum. |
| I hope the slabs or rough I purchase don't have cracks, vugs or imperfections. | Rock is Rock as created in Nature. Some waste must be expected. We do our best to offer rough and slabs that will have as little waste as possible when worked. That being said, a slab or piece of rough in pristine condition would command a much higher price than one with visual imperfections, cracks and/or vugs. |

| Most items are listed as only one in stock. I wanted to purchase some rough for cabbing, but there wasn't enough in stock to accommodate my project. | Studio 182 only lists those items that are in stock. This way the customer sees the item they are purchasing. If you have need of a larger quanity of an item, email us and if we have the material in stock, we will be more than happy to fill your needs. Listing our items this way is our way of keeping our prices competitive and ensuring there are no back orders to our customers. |

Although we do not discourage telephoning, the best way to contact us is via Email. | Does Studio 182 offer discounts on Lapidary Equipment? | Yes. We offer discounts to serious buyers (purchases over $450.00)of our Lapidary Equipment. If interested, send us an email with your proposed purchase, and we will reply with the best discount available at the time. We do not offer discounts on the site, as Manufacturers pricing seems to change hourly and it would be too time consuming to keep up with those changes. Therefore, all prices are subject to change without notice and all orders are filled based on a product availability from the Manufacturer. |
It is our Policy to ship USPS. Lapidary Equipment & other vendor items will be shipped as requested or as per their shipping policy.
Studio 182 Bulk Slab Specials are shipped within 7 working days of recieving payment, depending on inventory stock levels. |
